Here's the first paragraph from doesgodexist.org:

The purpose of this brief study is to offer a logical, practical, pragmatic proof of the existence of God from a purely scientific perspective. To do this, we are assuming that we exist, that there is reality, and that the matter of which we are made is real. If you do not believe that you exist, you have bigger problems than this study will entail and you will have to look elsewhere.

I just thought the last sentence was pretty funny.  Now to read the rest of the site in the hope that I'm not promoting a heretical web site.

Oops!  It's been a while since I've been here. LOL...ok, let's see what's been going on...

1) Hilary and I = couple (January 13)
2) Pre-recital hearing = March 10 at 12 p.m. (i.e. high noon........)

Other than that, not much outside of work and practice...by the way, anyone reading this who  goes to PBU and wouldn't mind a little torture, please let me know if you're interested in helping me with my pre-recital hearing by listening to the music I'm playing. It would really help me get over my performing jitters.  Thanks!

Later!

THE RULES: List five songs that you are currently loving. It doesn't matter what genre they are from, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying right now. Post these instructions, the artists, and the songs in your blog, then "tag" five other bloggers/friends to see what they're listening to.

I was ONCE AGAIN tagged by Hil.  *sigh* if she wants to abuse me this much, she sees me all the time!

1.  The Last of the Mohicans soundtrack

2.  Be Thou My Vision

3.  "Toccata" by Gigout

4.  BWV 565

5.  "Hero" by Bonnie Tyler from "Footloose" soundtrack

And the magic double-space strikes again!

Anyway, heading home for my normal weekend shindig in about an hour and a half.  Coming back on Sunday (despite fall break) for practice and work on Monday night.

P.S.--I'm not tagging anyone because I almost got shot in the face the last time!

Love to God, friendship to all.

I was tagged by Hil

The Rule:
The first person decides on a question, writes down his/her own answers in his/her blog, and then send the question to five other people. At the end of his/her blog, add a link to five people's blogs, and leave a comment on their blog saying "Tag you're it!" These lucky five then answer the same question, mentioning who tagged them before, and choose five other people to tag.

The Question: 5 Weird habits.

1.  I scratch my head in only one spot while I'm driving
2.  I have to practice my recital pieces by nationality.  Germans together and Russians together...never German, Russian, German, Russian
3.  I clean when I'm angry
4.  I shop when I'm depressed (sometimes spending money)
5.  I wear a cape.

Now...five people...what happens if someone has been tagged already?  Oh well...
Buck, Mir, Melissa, Steph, and Danielle....

And  now, for the rest of the entry....

I have been in a really great mood the past couple days. Not necessarily because good things have happened (although yesterday was the best day I've had in a loooooong time), but because I've realized something.  "What Joe?!  What have you realized?!"

I've realized that sometimes we get gifts that we aren't quite ready for.  Hence, we have to wait a little longer to open it.  For example, one year my uncle got me a bike that was too big for me, but it was really cool and I liked it a lot, so my parents stored it until I was big enough to ride it.  Even though I couldn't use the bike, I had the pleasure of going to the garage and looking at it every day, letting the anticipation build inside me until the day I was finally ready to ride!!!  Oh, what a glorious day it was!!!

That's it for now.  Love to God, friendship to all.  *boingie*
